Applesauce

Fall, my very favorite time of year, is almost here! Many of my all-time favorite recipes are fall related, and this applesauce is one of them. It's really easy to make, crazy delicious and makes your kitchen smell divine.

I love spreading this on a slice of whole wheat toast, or just stealing spoonfulls straight from the fridge. You can leave the cinnamon out if you'd like, and vary the amount of sugar too.

Applesauce (from allrecipes.com)

4 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher, or use a stick blender. Store in the refrigerator.
